We offer our digital skills courses in a supportive environment where we encourage you to learn new skills and develop confidence with technology. We'll match you to a course suited to your needs and skills after an initial assessment meeting with our course advisors. When you complete your course you can progress on to a higher-level course and work towards qualifications.

Digital skills courses


Do you have a computer or tablet, but need help with online basics, like shopping, or communicating with family and friends?

This short course will help you develop your computer skills so that you can take part in life online, including other online courses.

Enrol on introduction to digital skills

Are you new to computers? If so, this is the course for you.

You will learn all the basics, including mouse and keyboard skills, using the Internet and how to send an email.

Enrol on digital skills for beginners

Do you already know the basics, such as how to use the internet, keyboard, and open emails?

This course will help you improve your skills. It will include suitable websites for those looking for jobs and housing.

Enrol on digital skills for improvers

This course will include topics suitable for job searching, re-cap how to register with Universal Job match, download job applications and complete online applications.

It will show you how to edit or create a CV, a covering letter and upload email attachments or to job websites.

Enrol on digital skills for intermediates

This course is for you if you have reasonable basic computer experience and want to gain a nationally recognised qualification. It is not for beginners.

This exciting new course is for you if have good computer experience and want to gain a modern nationally recognised qualification.

Enrol in digital skills for work and life

We've designed this course to introduce you to the spreadsheet environment and its tools.

The programme will allow you to play with spreadsheet tools to add, modify and delete data.

Enrol in introduction to using spreadsheets

This course will give you the opportunity to bring your spreadsheet skills up to a proficient level.

Completion of this module will enable you to learn some advanced tools and techniques of the spreadsheet applications.

This nationally recognised qualification is designed to introduce you to the principles of cyber security and increase sector awareness.

You'll learn about the principles and understanding of roles and issues relating to cyber security.
