Jaspers Community Cafe

Jaspers Community Cafe is on the first floor of the Medway Adult Education Centre, alongside the Community Hub and the Library.

Jaspers is a not for profit community focused cafe, in partnership with Cornerstone Community Church and Medway Council. It is supported by Kent Community Foundation, Lawson Endowment for Kent, Countryside, Hyde Housing and Rochester Riverside.

The cafe offers nutritious, fresh and affordable food and drink in a friendly and welcoming environment. It provides training for people with disabilities and learning difficulties for work within the hospitality industry. It gives them the skills of:

  • food preparation
  • cooking and serving
  • customer service
  • people skills.

Jaspers Cafe is a resource centre, providing a comprehensive signposting service. The cafe is an ideal location for group meet-ups and events.

Jaspers aims to provide a wide range of services to the local community, if you see a need, please let them know.
